As part of this position the professional will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of Statutory Financial Statements for LATAM Companies, analyze and review financial information for accuracy, assist with Income Tax Returns, prepare Journal entries related to Payroll and indirect taxes, among other tasks.
The successful candidate will enjoy problem-solving, complete daily tasks with a high level of accuracy, have a desire to learn and require little to no supervision with daily tasks. Time management skills, such as prioritization of multiple responsibilities with high attention to detail and timely results, are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scope of the responsibilities requires decision making within the parameters of company guidelines, exercising appropriate judgment, and taking initiative.
- Help coordinate and prepare the financial reporting component of Fiscal, Internal & External Audit.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, WFS Accounting Practices, IFRS and Local Statutory Principles for Latam Companies.
- As a part of this position the professional will prepare and analyze indirect taxes for Ecuador, Guatemala, Peru and Costa Rica.
- Prepare reconciliation in Blackline.
- Analyzed and post Journal entries related to Payroll for LATAM companies
- Reconciliate accounts related to payroll.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in accounting.
- 3-5 years of progressive finance and accounting or audit experience.
- Advanced knowledge in excel, lookups, pivots, formulas.
- Experience in ERP systems (Oracle).
- Intermediate English skills (B2)
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Team building skills and the ability to establish effective relationships and rapport with a wide variety of individuals
- Demonstrates initiative to follow up on pending issues and organize assigned work
- Having ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks, excellent project managerial and interpersonal skills.
