The Accountant will support the general ledger team by performing month-end procedures, preparing journal entries, maintaining sub-ledgers, and assisting with audits. The role requires a strong understanding of GAAP and advanced Excel skills to conduct financial analyses and improve processes.

Accountants support our general ledger accounting team and contribute to critical aspects of the financial statement close. They are required to have a strong accounting foundation and attention to detail.

What you'll do:

  • Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations
  • Preparation and review of fixed assets and prepaid expenses
  • Assisting with the implementation of new systems and integration of acquired companies
  • Assisting with financial statement audits and accounting projects
  • Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required


Experience you'll bring:

  • Some public accounting experience preferred
  • Master's degree in accounting preferred


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytic abilities and time management
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent experience; a Bachelor's degree, or an advanced degree without experience.
  • ACA/ACCA Qualification
