The Opportunity
Cochlear has an opportunity for a full-time, fixed-term Accountant based in our Bologna, Italy office. In this role, the successful Accountant will control the financial accounting function for Cochlear Italy, ensuring compliance with both group and local policies. This role also includes responsibilities for office facilities management and local IT coordination.
Responsibilities include:
- Calculating and booking monthly accruals and deferred charges.
- Reconciling and maintaining Balance Sheet and P&L accounts.
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory annual reports and supporting the audit process.
- Overseeing accounts payable functions, including vendor negotiations and invoice processing.
- Managing office facilities and coordinating with service providers.
- Supporting the Finance Manager in planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Providing local IT support and ensuring smooth operation of office equipment and facilities.
