Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

  • Prepares, analyzes, and posts recurring and non-recurring journal entries, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and timely in accordance with U.S. GAAP and organizational policies.
  • Assists in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including the preparation and review of supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Analyzes financial activity and account balances, researching and resolving discrepancies or unusual transactions.
  • Prepares and maintains balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring account balances are supported by appropriate documentation and reconciling items are investigated and resolved promptly.
  • Provides support for internal and external audits, including gathering documentation, preparing schedules, and responding to auditor requests.
  • Prepares bank reconciliations and coordinates the correction of reconciling items as necessary.
  • Ensures compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
  • Assists in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and other regulatory reports as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Minimum Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting Required

Work Experience:

  • 1 year Relevant experience. Required

Courses and Training:

  • Accounting/finance. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Able to work well in a team
