Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documentation.
- Manage customer payments and supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile bank statements, cashbooks, and petty cash records on a regular basis.
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and ongoing expense monitoring.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Support inventory and stock reconciliation processes in collaboration with the operations team.
- Process staff reimbursements and expense claims in accordance with company policy.
- Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions as required.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Provide support during external audits and regulatory reporting cycles.
- Contribute to tax documentation and statutory compliance tasks.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform any additional accounting or finance-related duties as assigned by management.
