Responsibilities
- Process payment requests and record daily financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Receive, verify, and process incoming invoices; prepare and issue payment vouchers.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances to improve cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and performance summaries.
- Compile and maintain detailed expense reports and supporting financial documentation.
- Track and monitor departmental spending against approved budgets.
- Maintain up-to-date tax records and support the preparation of statutory filings.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with organisational policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Uphold the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information at all times.
