Job Summary:
This role serves as the local finance representative for OU512 in Shanghai, responsible for daily accounting operations, tax compliance, audit support, and external authority liaison. The position is the single point of contact for both external parties (tax bureau, banks, auditors) and internal stakeholders. Works closely with team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Closing
- Monthly journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and BS/P&L reconciliation
- Coordinate with MSSC on AP processing and payment execution
- Maintain records in Oracle Fusion (US GAAP & PRC GAAP)
2. Tax & Compliance
- File monthly/quarterly VAT, CIT, IIT, and stamp duty declarations
- Own and manage tax bureau online accounts for OU512 and all branch offices
- Handle IIT annual reconciliation, RSU tax treatment, and tax refund applications
- Respond to tax bureau inspections, inquiries, and audits independently
3. Audit & Statutory
- Primary on-site contact for statutory audit and tax audit
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Support annual CIT filing and transfer pricing local file
4. External Liaison
- Represent OU512 finance with tax bureau, banks, auditors, and government agencies
- Handle banking operations
- Manage finance-related seal and business license applications
5. Employee Services
- On-site finance support for Shanghai employees (reimbursement, IIT, inquiries)
- Support new employee finance orientation
6. Branch Coordination & Projects
- Coordinate multi-city branch tax filing (Beijing, Shenzhen, Nanjing, etc.)
- Other ad-hoc tasks.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years in accounting/finance at a multinational or foreign-invested enterprise in China
- Strong knowledge of PRC VAT, CIT, IIT, and stamp duty with hands-on tax bureau filing experience
- Experience with IIT annual reconciliation, RSU tax treatment, and tax refund applications
- Fluent Mandarin and proficient English (written and verbal)
- ERP experience
- Oracle Fusion experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience supporting statutory and/or tax audits
