Join Findex as an Accountant or Senior Accountant in our Toowoomba office in this full-time, hybrid, permanent role. Your role, your contribution!

  • Prepare and/or review various tax compliance work including Business Activity Statements (BAS), financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses.

  • Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget.

  • Ensure compliance obligations are met with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients within the office locations.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients and other offices.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members as your experience and seniority grow, sharing technical knowledge and reviewing their work.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven or demonstrated accounting experience within Public Practice and strong knowledge of Australian taxation requirements.

  • CA or CPA qualified, working towards qualification, or well progressed on your qualification journey.

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, and to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Curious mindset, eager to learn and a passion for accounting and business advisory services.

  • For more experienced candidates, confidence to take ownership of client relationships and support the development of junior staff.

Skills Required
