We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in the finance and accounting domain and be proficient in using Xero software. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting financial decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi tax laws (VAT, Zakat, etc.) and other financial regulations.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Work closely with auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance.
- Utilize Xero accounting software for financial reporting and bookkeeping.
- Support financial planning and improve accounting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi tax laws and financial regulations.
- Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is mandatory
- CPA, CMA, or any relevant certification is an advantage.
