As part of our continued growth and increasing international expansion, we are further strengthening our Finance function, with a clear focus on robust, scalable, and group-wide aligned structures.

We are looking for a hands-on and ambitious Accountant (m/w/d) to take ownership of the operational accounting for our German entity, with strong integration into the Group Accounting of the Teylor Group.

This role goes beyond day-to-day bookkeeping and requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, closing logic, and international accounting standards (HGB & Swiss GAAP / Swiss OR).


Your Responsibilities

Operational Accounting

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day financial accounting of the Teylor Group (partially outsourced)
  • Processing of all business transactions across general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Ensuring completeness, accuracy, and traceability of all postings

Closings & Accounting

  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB, Swiss GAAP)
  • Execution of accruals, provisions, and period-end postings
  • Account reconciliations and establishment of audit-proof documentation
  • Ensuring correct representation across sub-ledgers and general ledger

Accounting Standards & Group Integration

  • Supporting the reconciliation and transition between HGB and Swiss GAAP / Swiss OR
  • Ensuring reporting readiness of financials within the Group Accounting framework
  • Contributing to group-wide requirements regarding consistency, transparency, and closing quality

Transition & In-Sourcing

  • Supporting the gradual build-up of internal accounting structures
  • Taking over responsibilities from external tax advisors and service providers
  • Documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of processes

Systems & Processes

  • Contributing to the development of accounting and ERP systems
  • Supporting system implementations, migrations, and data structures
  • Helping build a scalable finance infrastructure

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaboration with internal teams and international finance functions
  • Coordination with tax advisors, auditors, and external partners
  • Communication in an international environment (German & English)

Your Profile

  • 2–5 years of experience in financial accounting, ideally with exposure to financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of HGB
  • Basic understanding or initial practical experience with Swiss GAAP / Swiss OR
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, accruals, and closing logic
  • Experience working with external tax advisors and audits
  • High system affinity and experience with accounting/ERP systems
  • Very good German and English skills
