We are strengthening our Finance and Accounting Team in Luxembourg and are hiring an Accountant (m/f/d). You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing finance team that manages the full accounting lifecycle for our Luxembourg entities. This is a hands-on position with broad exposure across financial operations, reporting, and cross-border coordination.
What you'll do:
Oversee day-to-day transactions including postings, reconciliations, receivables and payables
Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals and deferrals in accordance with Lux GAAP / IFRS
Support preparation of annual financial statements of holding and service companies
Compile internal and external financial reports to support management and audit requirements
Act as main contact for tax advisors and auditors
Prepare and file VAT returns in line with local regulations
Issue invoices, support the budgeting process and perform interest calculations
Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects within the team
What you’ll need:
University degree complemented by relevant certifications (ACCA, Luxembourgish Accountant or similar)
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in accounting under Lux GAAP
Experience preparing financial statement process under Lux GAAP and familiarity with other GAAPs is a plus
Sound understanding of VAT and local tax compliance
Understanding of Improvements of existing processes
Good experience with MS-Office required, familiarity with Sage BoB, WORKDAY and DATEV advantageous
Fluent in English, Fench and/or German are an advantage
Proactive, detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork

Skills Required
- University degree
- Relevant accounting certification such as ACCA, Luxembourgish Accountant, or similar
- Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience under Lux GAAP
- Experience preparing financial statements under Lux GAAP
- Sound understanding of VAT and local tax compliance

- Good experience with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with other GAAPs
