To manage and support core accounting activities, including daily Fintech transactions, reconciliations, customer settlements, revenue and cost analysis, Accounts Payable (A/P), and financial reporting—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise day-to-day financial accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and validate prepaid and accrual accounts, asset tracking, amortization, and depreciation.
- Record and reconcile payroll transactions, ensuring accurate reflection in the accounting system and alignment with payroll reports.
- Prepare reports required by ZATCA and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Manage and guide accounting assistants and bookkeepers to ensure smooth workflow and timely task execution.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial-related needs and initiatives.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in line with business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Review current accounting practices and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in automating accounting operations to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the finance function.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related fields.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years of working experience in Fintech is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
