This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located in 114 W Edenton Street - Wake County with the Department of Justice.   

 
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

• NCFS Intercompany Transfers
• Journal Voucher preparation
• ACFR worksheet preparation
• Advanced Excel skills (conditional formatting, formulas)

Minimum Education and Experience

Some state job postings say you can qualify by an “equivalent combination of education and experience.” If that language appears below, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a degree in business administration, finance, public administration, or a related discipline from an appropriately accredited institution with 18 semester hours of accounting coursework; and two years of professional accounting/auditing experience in the preparation of interpretive or analytical accounting. financial statements and reports; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
