Your Next Career Opportunity – Bilingual Tax Accountant I
Analyze sales tax and property tax data utilizing and assist in ensuring compliance with policy and procedures.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Process property tax bills received from US and International municipalities.
- Process property tax bills received from US and International landowners.
- Address property tax inquiries from international SBA offices in a timely manner.
- Assist with billing property taxes to customers.
- Research delinquent tax matters and communicate findings to Tax Manager.
- Assists prepare annual property tax returns.
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations.
- Identify ways to gain efficiencies in processes, leverage technology and assist implementing changes.
- Assist with gathering information for audits and work with external auditors.
- Assist with sales and use tax reconciliation and filings
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required. AA, BA/ BS degree in Finance or Accounting is strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of Accounting experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and legal documents.
- Analytical and detailed oriented.
- Must possess basic accounting skills used in determining accruals and expense determination.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
