Accountant I - AR Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As part of a Financial Accounting shared service organization, you will report to the EMEA Accounting Sr Manager and work closely with other members of the team based in Europe on a day-to-day basis.

The successful candidate will carry out tasks in the following areas:

Providing accounting support to several EMEA entities which will involve:

• Deliver monthly billing (in cooperation with Facility, Accounts Payable, and Customer Business Support teams)
• Prepare accounting documentation for customers and appropriate journals in compliance with
  the local laws and Sabre policies
• Perform customers’ settlement 
• Monitor billing cycles and ensure necessary cost/revenue accruals estimated and posted
• Prepare analyses/reports required on a month closure (Customers, General Statistic Office, Tax Office)

Compliance and Statutory reporting:

• Support statutory audits and tax inspections
• Support SOX and US GAAP audits
• Adhere to all Sabre Policies

Other Tasks:

• Support global and local project such as system customization (SAF-T reporting, e-invoices implementation)

• Tool and process enhancement

Required Competencies:

• Fluent in English
• Excel to intermediate standard
• Team player
• Communication skills
• Performs work conscientiously and diligently

Desired Competencies:

• Knowledge of SAP
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in AR and billing processes
