Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing activities, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly financial analysis and supporting schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and periodic financial projections.
- Support budgetary control, variance analysis and project cost monitoring.
- Maintain accounting records and assist in daily administrative tasks, including Oracle system maintenance and master data updates.
- Assist in external audits, statutory reporting and tax compliance filings.
- Review and ensure compliance with internal control procedures, accounting policies and corporate guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain business process documentation, workflow procedures and process diagrams, including regular review and update of existing documentation.
- Participate in finance system enhancement, automation initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on accounting and financial matters.
- Support ad hoc assignments and special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational corporation, hospitality industry or commercial environment.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and month-end closing processes.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion; experience in system implementation or process improvement projects is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
