Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

A mid-level accounting position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services with minimal supervision. This role handles both low and medium complexity funds, focusing on core accounting processes and standard cluster communications. The position requires independent execution of established procedures while maintaining quality and timeliness standards.

    What You'll Do: 

    • You’ll prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, NAV reports, and other fund accounting deliverables in accordance with prescribed guidelines, accounting standards, and client requirements.
    • You’ll maintain fund books and records through daily bookkeeping, periodic financial reporting, and rigorous quality control processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
    • You’ll process capital calls, distributions, investor notices, and other routine fund accounting transactions while maintaining detailed and accurate documentation.
    • You’ll identify, assess, and escalate operational risks, conduct self-reviews, and participate in quality assurance activities to uphold compliance and operational standards.
    • You’ll support process improvement initiatives, contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, and participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.

    Qualifications

    About you:

    • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or have completed ACCA Level 1 or hold an ACA certification.
    • You have preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 1 year in fund accounting.
    • You possess a solid understanding of fund accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
    • You demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills, enabling you to manage accounting processes accurately and efficiently.
    • You are a proactive and collaborative professional with strong communication skills, committed to delivering high-quality work and supporting continuous learning and development.

    Skills Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
    • Completed ACCA Level 1 or holds an ACA certification
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience
    • At least 1 year of fund accounting experience
    • Understanding of fund accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting standards
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
