We are seeking a Nashville, TN based Account Transitions Analyst to join our Account Transitions group in Investment Management Operations - Account Transitions.
OPS Group Description:
The Global Portfolio Administration department provides operational support to the firms Institutional, Private Client and Retail business channels through account transitions. The Account Transitions team is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the accuracy of client portfolios throughout the account transition lifecycle. The overall responsibility is to achieve operational excellence by consistently providing a superior level of service to our clients while improving efficiencies without compromising controls or risk management discipline.
We are seeking a Nashville based Analyst to join our Account Transitions group in Investment Management Operations - Account Transitions.
To perform various transition and client on boarding tasks including new accounts, custodian changes, in kind movements, market openings and account closings. The individual will be expected to work as a part of a team and will need to be able to communicate effectively with various internal and external clients.
The Portfolio Administration - Account Transitions team services a number of internal and external applications. On a daily basis the Analyst will use Microsoft Office; internal applications such as BOSS, SNAP, Portfolio Management System, ACE and AB Advantage, along with external applications that include Bloomberg as well as a number of custodian websites.
What You'll Do:

Ownership of all operational aspects relating to account transitions; account openings, in-kind asset transfers, custodian changes and account closures

Communication of transition related issues and impacting events to various internal departments

Confirmation and processing of time sensitive events including asset transfers and local market openings

Participation in various firm initiatives and working groups

Participation in internal/external audit best practice discussions
Fast paced, dynamic environment which includes daily interaction with a large number of internal and external clients.
What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or another relevant discipline

1+ years’ experience in business operations, working with a team and meeting time sensitive deadlines

We will also consider strong candidates that are recent college graduates with internship experience
