Due to the ongoing growth and expansion of the business, NEC SWS Public Safety is increasing the team size of the Internal Sales function.
The Account Support Executive will perform a pivotal role in the retention and growth of the Public Safety division, processing renewals and smaller value orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Success for the individual will be measured by their direct ability to ensure the accuracy of the forecasting of new opportunities which will deliver revenue and margin, exceeding customer expectations for the delivery of smaller/straightforward proposals identifying new business opportunities and complying with NEC Sales Governance processes.
Job activity & responsibilities:

Ensure that renewals are progressed and processed in a timely manner and securing multi-year deals where appropriate.

Identify opportunities, manage pipeline, and be accountable for revenue achievement for the small and lower value order intake target as set out in the internal sales team team’s commission plans

Oversee the commercial and contractual relationships for small and lower value sales opportunities and variation orders, including additional licences, services, and hardware. Ensure adherence to NEC terms and conditions and that deals, and contract terms are constructed to maximise NEC’s position, contract longevity and sustainable profitability.

Position NEC as a trusted partner and first port of call for our customers ensuring that we react and respond within expected timelines.

Build productive relationships with NEC team members in sales, projects, support, and service lines to construct well thought out solutions for customer problems.

Understand the customers’ pain points and seek swift solutions from stakeholders within the NEC SWS business.

Ensure that the sales opportunities follow the mandated processes and governance such as OAM, production of ECREM and CRM data.

Ensure data within CRM is up to date, accurate and complete allowing the finance team and Heads of function to forecast financial performance and resource requirements.

Ensure that won deals are processed in a timely manner ensuring and issues are resolved quickly to allow delivery teams to action and invoice as soon as possible.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience:
-
A good knowledge of the Emergency Services Sector and able to talk competently about Police Systems, Services and Solutions

Demonstrable experience of key stakeholder management both internally and externally.

Proven ability to manage and shape sales opportunities from beginning to end.

Strong commercial skills.
-
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience of delivering &/or selling solutions and modules relating to public safety and/or mission critical customers.

Ability to resolve issues within a customer account to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
