The ASR:
- Is accountable for end-to-end delivery from a Supply perspective, advising and influencing stakeholders across the Supply Chain.
- Designs optimal Customer/Contract Supply Chains that meet customer demand, comply with laws and regulations and align with the Supply Strategy, with risks assessed.
- Brings the Supply Chain into execution after design, continuously monitoring, controlling and optimizing it through to project closure.
- Resolves misalignment between customer commitments and Supply capabilities, especially where poor forecasting creates cost, inventory and delivery risks.
- Works cross-functionally, influencing without formal authority and driving data-based decisions, risk ownership and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Forecasting and Demand
- Lead and facilitate monthly Account S&OP and drive demand sensing and shaping.
- Advocate for customer forecasts to be specified in customer contracts.
- Proactively lead and guide accounts in collecting and analyzing forecast input.
- Ensure assumptions, reasons, risks and opportunities behind forecasted demand are documented and presented to the Market Area Demand Manager.
- Analyze recent forecasting performance and recommend improvements based on implications for customers and suppliers.
Supply Chain Design and Preparation
- Create and assess Supply Chain Delivery Plans and associated budgets.
- Advise Core 3 on optimal delivery resources (products, services, people) to select or create the best Supply Chain setup.
- Identify Supply Chain delivery resource needs and analyze risks; create and update mitigation plans.
- Promote and execute the Supply Strategy, including explaining financial consequences of forecast inaccuracy and non-standard portfolios.
- Gatekeep and influence supply-critical terms and conditions in customer contracts to mitigate Supply Chain risks and financial impact.
- Support and gatekeep the product substitution process towards the CU.
Establishment, Execution and Closure
- Initiate and secure Supply Chain set-up, involving Supply Chain Design and Control where needed.
- Assess Supply Chain readiness for initial execution and establish performance metrics.
- Secure execution in line with the Supply Chain Delivery Plan; consolidate progress updates to the account and project team.
- Manage request for expedited hardware delivery, act on issues or deviations, and monitor inventory, stock and overall Supply Chain performance.
- Trigger improvements to remove roadblocks and ensure clear handover to ODM (Order Delivery Manager) for delivery execution.
- Summarize and evaluate Supply Chain performance and solution; close the Supply Chain for the project/program.
- Secure product take-back and buy-back opportunities and create a final Supply Chain report with lessons learned and financial impact.
