Job Summary
The Account Representative is responsible for maintaining relationships with current accounts, and developing new relationships with potential accounts.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Services and maintains positive relationships with the current customer base
- Resolves customer problems on a timely basis
- Identifies customer's needs and presents solutions by recommending potential product enhancements or modifications
- Generates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers
- Monitors sales market in assigned region
- Prepares various reports as required
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma; preferred bachelor's degree
- Minimum of one to three years of experience in the field or related area.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
- Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
- Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines
