About the RoleDoorDash is looking for an Account Manager to join the New Verticals Partnerships team, to help promote and execute the strategy for our partnerships in our convenience, retail and grocery vertical. Given the scale of our partners, you will be an essential piece of DoorDash's success in New Zealand. As an Account Manager on the Partnerships Team you'll help execute growth plans, improve quality, and deliver data insights.
You're excited about this opportunity because...- Engage with New Vertical partners to grow sales, improve quality, and deliver data insights
- Work cross-functionally and serve as the liaison between our partners and DoorDash teams, particularly with our growth, merchandising, marketing, and operations teams
- Execute a growth strategy across our convenience, retail and grocery partners, including large scale growth initiatives as well as tactical, targeted campaigns
- Oversee partner specific needs (e.g., POS (point of sale) integrations, customised reporting, catalogue optimisation, merchant marketing, operational improvements)
- Build direct relationships with important partners throughout each partner, ensuring client needs are met at all levels
- You will report directly to the Enterprise Partnerships Manager, New Zealand
- Have 4 years of experience working in account management, management consulting, project management, client success, and/or sales management
- Have experience with data, specifically SQL
- Have strong project management skills
- Love working directly with clients; you create and maintain long-term relationships
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Know how to take very broad challenges or opportunities and turn them into actionable projects with clear goals
