Account Manager, Fund Accounting, Close Ended Fund

Location: Shanghai

Job Description:

Apex Group seeks a talented and experienced Account Manager to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time Accountant remote role offers a favourable salary and benefits package, including the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.

 As an Accountant, you will provide day-to-day accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate clients and structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

  • To give you an idea of how this Public Accountant role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:
  • Ensure that all matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner, including monitoring tasks
  • Work closely with the full team to ensure the provision of high-quality client service
  • Response to requests and inquiries from client and manage client relationship ensuring that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines
  • Undertake reviewer responsibilities for accounts linked to simple and complex structures
  • Responsible for reviewing payments, periodic management accounts, capital calls and distributions, capital account statements, investors’ reporting templates, year-end financial statements etc.

To apply for this accounting role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or above; a major in accounting or related majors is preferred. You will also require the following:

  • Over five years of experience in fund administration, alternative asset management, and public accounting
  • Solid knowledge and practice of IFRS, US GAAP and PRC GAAP
  • Knowledge of computer skills, including MS Office, Oracle, Efront, or similar.
