Our client is a leading multinational Mechanical and Electrical contracting company and they are looking for an experienced Account Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the reconciliation of all management accounts.
- Review of all daily accounting processes.
- Provide Management account reports with schedules and interpret financial information when required. Reviewing Trial Balance on a monthly basis.
- Prepare of monthly payroll in liaison with HR before submission to management.
- Produce Staff monthly payslips after payment of salary.
- Monitor and focus on cash flow and predict future trends.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations to allow for cost reduction opportunities.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring is carried out.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant contacts like auditors, bankers, Inland Revenue reps, statutory organizations, external auditors…etc.
- VAT/WHT/PAYE Returns.
- Adequately manage budgets.
- Ensure accurate processing of payments via SAP ERP.
- Give advice to all relevant departments on financial best practices.
- Keep an updated record of changes in financial legislation and regulations.
- Verify all bank charges, in accordance with the agreement with the bank and then pass for posting.
- Monitor fixed asset acquisition and posting depreciation.
- Creating new account ledgers and Mapping newly added ledgers to account group.
- Creating new cost centres as and when the need arises.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
- ICAN or ACA certification (Mandatory)
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP and advanced MS Excel skills
- Solid understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and corporate finance
