About the role:
You will be responsible for growing our structural steel business across the Gold Coast region, building strong client relationships, and driving new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and strengthening our presence in the region.
You will
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Preparing quotes and delivering sales presentations
- Conducting market analysis and staying up to date with industry trends and upcoming projects
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver the best outcomes for customers
- Always ensuring exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience in external or B2B sales (steel or related industry experience highly regarded)
- A proven track record of developing new business and achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- A proactive “can-do” attitude and strong work ethic
- Intermediate computer skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A background in steel manufacturing or distribution will be highly advantageous
