About the role:

You will be responsible for growing our structural steel business across the Gold Coast region, building strong client relationships, and driving new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and strengthening our presence in the region.

You will

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Preparing quotes and delivering sales presentations
  • Conducting market analysis and staying up to date with industry trends and upcoming projects
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver the best outcomes for customers
  • Always ensuring exceptional customer service

Requirements
  • Previous experience in external or B2B sales (steel or related industry experience highly regarded)
  • A proven track record of developing new business and achieving sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive “can-do” attitude and strong work ethic
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A background in steel manufacturing or distribution will be highly advantageous
