About this opportunity:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join Ericsson. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for key customers, responsible for building and sustaining long-term strategic relationships while driving business growth. You will represent Ericsson's comprehensive portfolio spanning RAN, Core Network, BSS, and managed services ensuring our customers achieve their business objectives through our technology and expertise. As a trusted partner, you will play a critical role in securing both short- and long-term profitable business for Ericsson and contributing to our customers' success in an ever-evolving telecommunications landscape.
What you will do:
• Own and manage end-to-end customer relationships, acting as the primary interface between Ericsson and assigned accounts• Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer needs and Ericsson's business strategy, with a focus on RAN, Core Network, and BSS solutions• Identify, qualify, and drive new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts through targeted telco sales initiatives• Collaborate with internal teams including Sourcing, Delivery, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless solution delivery and customer satisfaction• Apply Customer Success and Support (CSS) competencies to proactively manage customer experience, retention, and satisfaction• Lead commercial negotiations and contract management in line with Ericsson's profitability targets• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer developments to proactively position Ericsson's value proposition across RAN and Core/BSS domains• Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting through CRM tools• Represent Ericsson at customer meetings, industry forums, and strategic business reviews
The skills you bring:
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the telecommunications or technology industry• Proven telco sales track record with experience managing strategic accounts and delivering consistent revenue growth• Hands-on knowledge of RAN (Radio Access Network) technologies, including 4G/LTE and 5G environments• Solid understanding of Core Network and BSS (Business Support Systems) solutions and how they integrate within end-to-end telco architectures• Demonstrated CSS (Customer Success and Support) competencies, including customer lifecycle management, issue resolution, and value delivery• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiations and financial modelling• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at C-level• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environment• Academic degree in Engineering (Telecommunications/Electronics), Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
