Major Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Implement sales strategies to optimize growth, market share and profitability to meet or exceed Covestro EP short and long-term business objectives in responsible area set by Cluster Head;

  • Listens to and understands the account’s current and future (and value chain partner’s) specific needs as well as its position in the value chain and industry;

  • Offers price suggestions/direction for the account’s value chain to achieve targeted market share and profit goals; Implement pricing strategies of products sold to the industry within the agreed limits provided by management team; Provide accurate sales forecast and take care of customer's payment;

  • Monitors and manages the opportunity pipelines and the process of material specification; Tracks and consolidates quantitative customers’ demand created by material specification; Develops, coordinates and monitors monthly updates and reports;

  • Shares industries’ insights and knowledge based on accounts to support other functions to provide the right offering and value proposition to customers further to whole industries. Coordinates activities with supportive function like Industry Marketing, Application/Product Development, Product Management and Innovation for getting resources and connection with identified application development and technical requirements as well as others initiatives;

Qualification

  • 5+ years sales and marketing experiences preferably in polymer industry;

  • Bachelor Degree in Plastic Engineering, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering or business discipline;

  • Fluency in spoken / written English and Mandarin;

  • Strong network to EE customers and value chains;

  • Sound knowledge in EE customers and value chains' unmet needs, competition landscape;

  • Prefer Well-developed technical and application knowledge;
