THE ROLE: 

We are hiring an experienced Account Manager to join our award-winning team and drive the account management of our existing client portfolio as well as help in developing additional business in the Kingdom. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm (including 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak). 

We are seeking a capable and confident operator with events/hospitality experience. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their understanding and capabilities managing 360 sponsorship campaigns across a range of disciplines including rights management, premium hospitality, experiential, thought leadership, grassroots initiatives, digital and content. 

Reporting into the Vice President, Brand Consulting based in Singapore and working closely with the Brand Consulting Accounts team, the Account Manager will need to draw upon their knowledge and experience in sports marketing, to help advise and guide the client from partnership strategy to creative and impactful activations. It is critical that the candidate has event management and communications experience, able to manage events from end to end at different locations in KSA and ideally in the wider GCC region. We are looking for someone with a strong existing industry network who can work independently act as the point person of the account on the ground in the Kingdom. 

We are looking for someone that can not only demonstrate the requisite organizational skills and attention to detail to manage an account but also has the confidence and passion to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table that will help capture the attention and imagination of the different target audiences. The candidate will also support the VP and the wider network in developing new business in the Kingdom and the wider region. 

Main Responsibilities to include: 

  • Assisting the VP and wider team with day-to-day operations in KSA and the Middle East 
  • Support VP in developing new business leads - attend face to face meetings in KSA on behalf of the CAA Brand Consulting team 
  • Work closely with CAA Portas to help the wider Brand Consulting team to grow the industry network 
  • Main client liaison in KSA, domestic travel be required on a regular basis to facilitate face to face meetings  
  • Effective management of sponsorship rights ensuring they are fully delivered, activated, and measured 
  • Event management and hospitality logistics including temporary builds, talent appearances, internal engagement, grassroots activities, VIP customer experiences and ticket management 
  • Account administration, budget tracking and client reporting 
  • Work with the corporate comms team of the client on press releases and media outreach 
  • Work closely with the rightsholder’s commercial agency to align on ongoing projects 
  • Key supplier liaison for all KSA based activations 
  • Monitoring latest trends in sport, digital and technology  
  • International travel to deliver in-market guest programmes, including to host and manage senior level guest logistics (as required)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least 6+ years of agency or in-house Sports Marketing experience 
  • KSA on-ground experience is essential, must be fluent in Arabic and English  
  • Extensive experience managing complex events with international high value guests 
  • Strong vendor network in KSA and ideally in the wider GCC region to bring event experiences to life  
  • Experience in communications is preferable including the ability to develop communication plans and drive media outreach in the Kingdom 
  • A general understanding of campaign planning, asset development and amplification are crucial 
  • An understanding of the protocol for the Royal court of Saudi Arabia is critical 
  • Business development experience beneficial
  • People management experience is a plus but not essential 
  • Team player with a can-do attitude who is willing to work autonomously as this role will be the first Brand Consulting resource in KSA  
  • Ability to work across different time zones  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and best in class client servicing, account handling and project management 
  • Must have an organised and detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines  
  • Confident presentation skills, verbal and written with a strong attention to detail
