Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Account Manager to join our Inside Sales Team in North Mankato. This position will be focused on nurturing current accounts in a geographically assigned territory but could also be responsible for maintaining the relationship for some key and national accounts. 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Managing the entire sales cycle from working with current customers to finding new clients within each account 

  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long-term partnerships 

  • Designing, developing & delivering sales proposals and presentations on product benefits 

  • Presenting products & ideas to distributors in such a way that they can sell to their clients (Value-Based selling) 

  • Setting and conducting annual Account Reviews with top customers 

  • Providing quotes and virtual concepts (digital visuals of their logo on our products), along with follow up for larger opportunities 

  • Tradeshow and website generated warm lead follow up 

You Must Have: 

  • Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills 

  • Ability to develop lasting professional relationships with customers and co-workers 

  • Determined – able to see a goal and do whatever is necessary to achieve it 

  • Ambitious – driver of initiatives - see what’s needed and move without waiting for instruction 

  • Nurturing in Nature – willingness and desire to serve customers and provide solutions, showing you care along the way. 

We Would Also Prefer: 

  • Associate's degree preferred in Sales or Marketing, or equivalent experience 

  • 2-3 years previous sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business setting 

  • Promotional Industry experience a plus  

  • Customer Service experience 

Additional requirements: 

  • Up to 20% travel may be required 

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $45,000 - $57,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
