Responsibility:
Providing cleaning and sanitation solutions to manufacturing environments through a dual focus on sales and service to new and existing customers.
As a strong business partner, the incumbent works with customers to develop sanitation plans and programs, evaluate processes and procedures, identify operational efficiencies, and create systems for documenting and communicating recommendations for improvement.
The position holder pursues the sales goals through expanded sales within current customer plants, as well as, securing new business with identified plants within their territories.
He or She serves their customers as product and industry counselors who support customer organizational objectives in regards to plant sanitation, safety, quality and operations.

Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in food science, biotechnology, microbiology, biology, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
1-5 years’ experience in food, brewery, beverage, protein or dairy processing/manufacturing industries or 3 years’ experience in technical sales into manufacturing environments or maintenance in food, beverage or dairy processing/manufacturing industries.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and to adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Good command of English.
Ability to work independently and set own schedule.
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to understand what the customer needs.
Analytical ability to effectively identify and resolve problems independently.
Hands on.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, e-mail, internet).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to travel frequently
