Summary

We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and intelligent Account Manager (AM) to join our team. iU Account Managers are responsible for facilitating and nurturing client (partner) relationships both to ensure the quality of current obligations and to maximize future opportunities. The Account Manager is tasked with growing business with existing partners. This position works alongside the iU Business Development Team. Account Managers will act as the liaison between the partner and the agency and will work to ensure successful relationships are cultivated, maintained, and expanded over time. AMs are also responsible for assisting the growth department in the creation and maintenance of business development materials, including but not limited to pitch decks, scope of work documents, invoicing, etc., as bandwidth permits.

What you'll do:

  • Manage partner relationships and create an environment between the partner and the account manager that is conducive to both account maintenance and growth  
  • Ensure project timelines, both internal and external, are progressing according to plan and assist in alleviating delays, as possible/needed 
  • Conduct regular partner check-in calls/meetings to ensure goals are being met and identify any areas where additional resources are needed
  • Facilitate communication between the partner and Production Manager/internal departments within iU
  • Strategize to grow existing accounts, bringing upsell opportunities to the table based on partner business goals, health of the account, etc. 
  • Participate in all stages of project lifecycle
  • Generate invoicing
  • Assist the business development team with new business proposals, bandwidth permitting
  • Assist in calculating and analyzing metrics illustrating the reach and success of efforts

What we'll love about you:

  • At least 3+ years work experience in account/business management, marketing/pr in video production or special event management fields
  • Sales experience is a plus 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, outgoing attitude and approach
  • Ability to work additional hours (nights and weekends), as needed
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
  • Working knowledge of Google Drive
