We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to drive our customer retention and growth. This position is the owner of the strategic renewal plan, development of long term account strategy and leads the growth & retention of current clients. We need a teammate with a strong track record of success in achieving their individual goals, but also one who cares deeply about winning as a team and helping build up others around them. This Account Manager will play a key role in defining our processes as we grow.

Drive consistent and predictable revenue growth and retention within the existing SMB/Mid-Market account base

Nurture and expand the company’s relationship within customer accounts through strategic account plans and a tight partnership with Customer Success.

Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecasts through Salesforce.

Drive deep discovery focused on solving customer problems and delivering value.

Run customer presentations, illustrating strong product knowledge and business acumen

Engage and nurture executive sponsors with value driven communications

Maintain a strong level of proficiency in all products, including persona and product positioning; capabilities, benefits and value

Build effective, value based territory plans to ensure gross retention and expansion quota achievement.

Experience closing as an Account Executive or Account Manager in a SaaS technology company

Proven success in consistently achieving B2B sales quotas.

Negotiated skillfully in tough situations.

Systematically managed accounts to maximize results. Consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets through personally controlling the critical aspects of the sales and delivery processes.

Experienced in fast paced and high growth companies

Strong sales fundamentals, business & sales acumen

Ability to work individually and collaboratively within a team environment

Tech savvy and eagerness to learn new technology and practices
Bonus points if:

You have worked in a startup before and loved it

You have experience with SPICED, MEDDIC, Challenger Sales, and GAP Selling

You bring experience working with engineering teams and are familiar with the tools they use

You have experience with Customer Success tools like Gainsight
