A print job has a hundred moving parts and great Account Managers know how to bring them all together. At Prisma, our Account Managers are the quarterbacks of the job. They connect customers, Sales, Prepress, Production, and Shipping to make sure the details are right, expectations are clear, and commitments are met.

We work with some of the country's most recognizable national brands, helping bring complex printing, direct mail, and fulfillment programs to life. It's the kind of work you can see out in the world and take pride in knowing you helped make happen.

We're looking for an experienced commercial printing professional who understands the production process, enjoys solving problems, embraces technology, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Open and maintain jobs within Prisma's ERP and workflow systems, coordinating estimates, artwork, proofs, approvals, specifications, and billing information to ensure jobs are properly prepared for production.

  • Production Coordination: Partner with Sales, Prepress, Production, and Shipping to align priorities, coordinate schedules, resolve operational challenges, and keep jobs moving through production.

  • Proactive WIP Management: Actively monitor work in progress, anticipate potential delays or production issues, and take action to protect quality, cost, and delivery commitments.

  • Customer Communication & Relationship Management: Build customer confidence through timely updates, proactive expectation management, and coordinated solutions when requirements or schedules change.

  • Process Improvement & Technology: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce errors, and eliminate repetitive tasks. Leverage technology, automation, and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and improve the customer experience.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Ownership & Accountability: Independently manage complex jobs, take responsibility for accurate execution, and follow through on customer commitments.

  • Production Expertise: Apply strong commercial printing knowledge to identify potential issues, coordinate practical solutions, and make informed decisions throughout the production process.

  • Proactive Communication: Keep customers, Sales, and internal teams informed while anticipating challenges and managing expectations before issues escalate.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build productive relationships across departments, coordinate competing priorities, and keep work moving without direct reporting authority.

  • Print Production Knowledge: Strong understanding of prepress, offset and digital printing, finishing, and shipping processes. Ability to evaluate how specifications, materials, production capabilities, and scheduling decisions affect quality, cost, and delivery.

  • Complex Job Management: Proven ability to independently manage multiple jobs, changing priorities, and tight deadlines while coordinating resources across departments.

  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate production challenges, identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and work collaboratively with production teams to develop practical solutions.

  • Communication & Accountability: Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills, with a strong commitment to accuracy, customer service, and proactive stakeholder communication.

  • Print ERP & Systems Proficiency: Experience using print management or ERP systems to manage job tickets, specifications, production status, and customer information.

  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, with the ability to manage information, organize work, and communicate effectively.
