Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team, formerly Beecher Carlson, is looking for an Account Manager to join the National Healthcare team in Coral Gables, FL.

In this role, you will, serve as the primary day-to-day relationship manager for assigned clients and is accountable for the successful execution of service plans, renewal strategies, and client deliverables. The Account Manager coordinates internal resources, provides consultative guidance, and ensures client needs are addressed while supporting client retention and growth objectives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring consistent, responsive, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead day-to-day account management activities, including renewal planning, service execution, and client communications.
  • Coordinate internal resources, including Risk Analysts, Senior Risk Analysts, brokers, and carrier partners, to ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Consult with clients regarding risk management strategies, coverage needs, service plans, and program objectives.
  • Analyze client exposures, claims trends, and risk information to support recommendations and strategic planning.
  • Lead renewal activities, including gathering underwriting information, developing timelines, coordinating marketing efforts, and presenting recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver client-facing proposals, service plans, stewardship reports, and renewal presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and support account retention and growth initiatives.
  • Mentor and support Risk Analysts and Senior Risk Analysts by providing guidance, feedback, and developmental assistance.
  • Maintain required licensing and stay informed regarding industry trends and market developments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned."
     

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-7 years of commercial insurance, brokerage, or risk advisory experience.
  • Active state insurance license(s), or ability to obtain and maintain licenses.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and consultative skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities. Professional designations (CPCU, ARM) preferred.
