The Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual targets while driving growth in existing accounts by strengthening relationships with end‑users and customer management and promoting the full range of Pall Energy+ technologies, equipment, services, and solutions.
This position reports to the South East European Regional Sales Manager and is part of the East Europe Region Energy+ Sales Team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and orders targets as assigned by Energy+ management.
- Drive business expansion by significantly increasing market share in existing accounts through establishing and nurturing strong relationships with end-users and customer management. Promote all Pall technologies and capabilities, including Pall filters, coalescers and housings in the Energy+ markets.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact customer capacity expansion opportunities, collaborating with sales and strategic teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure successful sales completion
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Pall (Field Application Specialists, Scientific & Laboratory Services, Marketing, Product Management, Inside Sales, etc.) to develop and implement effective sales strategies that address customers’ needs promptly and secure sales opportunities.
- Report and communicate all high-value business opportunities, solution concepts, and strategies to Pall management through SFDC and Energy+ standard work. Using tools such as account plans while maintaining a strong, regular customer presence with multiple daily high-level face-to-face customer interactions.
The essential requirements of the job include
- 3+ years’ experience in providing products and services to Refinery and Oil & Gas, Chemical or General Industrial industries. In exchange for sales experience, we will consider experience as a process/project/maintenance engineer in an Oil & Gas, refining or petrochemical facility looking to start a career in technical sales.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in mechanical/chemical engineering, chemistry, biological sciences, or technical degree) or equivalent experience considered.
- Experience in consumables sales as well as capital equipment is desired
Valid Driver's License
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – minimum 75% travel (including overnight travel, as applicable)
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb
Base salary and level of employment
This role is classified under the applicable CCNL Commercio as first-level employee, which defines minimum terms, job classification, and baseline progression frameworks. The expected gross annual salary range for this role is €52 000–€65 000, determined based on objective criteria such as experience, skills, and role-related competencies.
Bonus / Incentive Pay
This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay. This is the target earnings as 25% of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
