Responsibilities:

• Applies lead expert knowledge to resolve highly complex business, operational or functional challenges requiring advanced specialist expertise and professional judgement. • Serves as a leading authority and trusted adviser on matters requiring deep expertise, insight and strategic thinking within the specialist discipline. • Shapes development, implementation and continuous improvement of professional standards, methodologies, frameworks or practices within the area of expertise. • Provides authoritative recommendations and specialist guidance that support organisational decision making, business objectives and functional performance. • Contributes expert leadership to strategic initiatives, projects and organisational improvement activities requiring advanced specialist knowledge. • Analyses emerging trends, opportunities and risks within the discipline and advises on implications for the organisation. • Collaborates with stakeholders across functions, organisations or regions to align expertise with organisational priorities and business objectives. • Provides coaching, mentoring and expert guidance to professionals, specialists and developing experts within the organisation. • Maintains compliance with applicable policies, standards and governance requirements while promoting professional excellence. • Contributes to organisational success through recognised authority, expert leadership and advancement of professional capability and performance.

Qualifications:

• Lead expert knowledge within a specialised discipline, typically developed through extensive professional experience, recognised expertise and continuous professional development. • Demonstrated ability to apply advanced specialist expertise to highly complex business situations and organisational challenges. • Proven capability to shape professional standards, methodologies, practices or frameworks within a specialist discipline. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to evaluate complex issues and provide authoritative recommendations. • Ability to influence decisions and outcomes through recognised authority, advanced professional judgement and specialist credibility. • Broad understanding of business processes, organisational priorities and external developments relevant to the specialist discipline. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and senior stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop professional capability through expert guidance and knowledge sharing. • Commitment to professional excellence, continuous innovation and ongoing advancement of specialist expertise and organisational capability.
