We’re looking for a Strategic Account Manager. This role will report to the Director of Sales & Account Management, Strategic Accounts.

As a leading SaaS platform, our product is used by the most well-known brands in the world. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and owning the long-term growth strategy for a number of our most important regional customers. 

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as part of the Strategic team means your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Executing various strategies to ensure the region’s top accounts are highly engaged and investing further in Similarweb’s portfolio of products and services. 
  • Managing relationships with decision makers, influencers, and users to increase engagement and product adoption to exceed commercial targets
  • Identifying and leading up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to drive new business growth through greater advocacy and reference-ability
  • Partnering with the Strategic Sales team to ensure a collaborative client experience and account expansion
  • Influencing future lifetime value through higher product adoption, customer satisfaction, and overall engagement

This is the perfect job for someone with:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, account management, or other customer-facing commercial roles
  • Proven experience of navigating renewals and up-sells (SaaS/Digital background preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing and/or analytics space
  • Experience with large multinational accounts given the global remit of the role
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence, confidently handle objections, and resolve customer issues.
  • Experience client-direct sales and/or account management, and be highly successful at running consultative sales processes in large, complex prospect organizations. 
  • Experience in presenting to and interacting with senior management of prospective organizations.
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Team player able to effectively interact with colleagues and business partners across the company

About the team

The Strategic team works in collaboration with various internal stakeholders to develop a long-term growth and expansion strategy with some of the biggest brands in the world.  The Pod’s unique structure and work methods allow people to share ideas and build strategies while each person brings their own unique know-how. 

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $115,000 to $165,000 + benefits including: medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, potential equity, employee stock purchase plan and paid sick and parental leave.

In addition, this position is eligible to participate in the company’s sales incentive plan, with a maximum target OTE of up to $275,000, depending upon the final terms of employment and achievement of established targets. 

Individual compensation is based upon several factors, including qualifications and relevant experience.

The base salary range above is for the New York City metro area and could vary for candidates in other locations.
