Job Description:
As an Account Manager for the ProWood Division, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with key clients and driving sales within your assigned territory. You’ll work with a diverse range of customers, from independent lumberyards to home centers, offering ProWood’s high-quality pressure-treated lumber and related products that meet the toughest industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospect new business opportunities in your territory

  • Promote ProWood’s extensive range of pressure-treated lumber and related building products, including decking, fencing, and more

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and recommend the most suitable products for their projects

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by providing timely responses, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Stay up to date with the latest product offerings, treatment technologies, and industry trends to position ProWood as the go-to choice for builders

  • Work closely with the internal team to coordinate orders, deliveries, and resolve any product-related concerns

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, or applicable experience

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the building materials or lumber industry

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients

  • Self-driven and able to work independently to manage territory and meet sales goals

  • Ability to understand technical specifications of products and communicate their benefits effectively to customers

  • Willingness to travel within your assigned region to meet clients and attend industry events

Compensation & Benefit Information
Salary Pay Range:  $80,000 - $100,000 annually dependent on experience*
                *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living  

 

Bonus/Incentive Pay
The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on the customer account classification and is calculated based on collected gross profit.
