As a member of the broader Insurance Marketing Solutions team, the Account Manager is responsible for the relationship management of an existing client portfolio. The Account Manager also provides tactical support and assistance in onboarding and fostering new client relationships.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 3+ Years of experience in sales, sales support and/or account management within the Marketing industry… experience in the insurance industry (P&C) is a plus.
- Relationship Management & Sales Ability: Demonstrated aptitude in sales and marketing techniques with superior client relationship management skills. Ability to problem solve and effectively manage customer expectations in high-pressure situations.
- Positive Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively establish positive relationships with internal TransUnion teams and external customer base and dealing effectively with front-line and upper management teams.
- Communication: Ability to demonstrate written and verbal competence including strong presentation skills along with the ability to persuade, influence, and convince others in both formal and informal settings while presenting in a professional demeanor to internal and external clients.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Salesforce and other software applications and internet savvy.
Impact You'll Make:
- Support revenue generating activities with insurance carriers, agencies and partners as you work with Account Executives to establish and expand relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
- Guide and support customers through the credentialing, contracting and implementation processes to ensure prompt and successful deployment of TU services.
- Lead non-direct selling activities such as ensuring that contracts are executed correctly, pilots are running smoothly, implementations are on track and timely support is provided post-sales.
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and Data Services Requests (DSRs) for client engagements.
- Working with the Insurance Operations Team to insure invoices are generated and distributed to customers on a monthly basis.
- Assist Account Executives with market planning activities and industry research that will result in new revenue opportunities.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
