About our Team

You’ll be part of ICIS’s Americas commercial organization, working collaboratively across Sales, Sales Specialists, Marketing, Product, and Client Success. The team operates in a global environment and works closely with colleagues across regions and functions to deliver value to customers and drive commercial growth. This is a role for someone who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on with customers, opportunities, and revenue growth.


About the Role

We are looking for a sales professional to drive growth across the United States while managing and expanding an established book of business. This role combines strategic account management, consultative selling, and new business development. You will build senior-level client relationships, identify customer needs, and help deliver sustainable revenue growth through the ICIS portfolio of solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Manage, retain, and grow revenue across an established book of business.
  • Develop strategic account and territory plans aligned with Americas objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships across the full ICIS solution portfolio.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, including RFPs, negotiations, and contract closures.
  • Apply value-based and consultative selling to understand customer challenges and deliver business outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales Specialists, Marketing, Product, and Client Success teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.

Qualifications
  • Proven success managing and growing a book of business.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, or relationship management.
  • Strong track record of identifying and converting commercial growth opportunities.
  • Experience with value-based and consultative selling in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience selling AI-enabled, SaaS, data, or other technology-driven solutions.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Industry experience in chemicals, energy, commodities, supply chain, or an adjacent market.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and work effectively across multiple internal teams.
  • This role requires 2–3 days per week in the office.
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $65,600 - $109,200. Total Target Cash Range: $100,900 - $168,200. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
