Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager, for our Foodservice National Accounts team to manage and develop business at new chain accounts, achieving maximum profitability. This role requires penetrating account organizations beyond purchasing and into marketing, QA, R&D, and Senior Management to develop long-term business relationships. Your goal will be to drive productivity in the sales process, manage existing accounts, and secure incremental product placements at current and new accounts.
Essential Functions:
- Expand Product Line Sales:
- Drive sales within new customers through new product/concept utilization, packaging changes/enhancements, and alignment with the division’s asset base.
- Sales Plan Development:
- Develop and implement a strategic outline to meet the division’s sales plan against targeted accounts.
- Business Expansion:
- Capitalize on the Huhtamaki family of businesses and the Chinet® brand by building exposure and sales volume through new customers. Achieve this via capabilities presentations, corporate contacts with key personnel, product presentations, trade conferences, and other interfacing opportunities.
- Coordination and Management:
- Coordinate and manage through necessary support groups within the Huhtamaki organization to meet or exceed customers’ needs while delivering on divisional objectives.
Job Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, or a related field.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software.
- Ability to build rapport with key clients.
- Ability to handle multiple client accounts.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Environment:
- Travel is expected.
- Relocation is expected.
