As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Maintain existing customer relationships and ensuring smooth operations and service standards to achieve customer KPIs.
Grow the business by going after new sales opportunities, pricing execution and securing long-term profitability to maintain our position as market leaders
Understand business targets and priorities, working with the team to implement and deliver closed deals.
Work closely with customers to proactively identify and deliver on value projects for customers
Lead and coach team on sales and technical training in the specialty chemical space.
Develop and execute a relationship strategy for Target Accounts
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (Chemical Engineering) with at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
Proven Strong Leadership in Safety and Value projects delivery and have a good understanding of the role and tasks as a Account Manager
Self-Motivated, sharp and analytical with a flair for engaging people at all levels in internal and customer organization
Have sales experience and interactions with senior customer stakeholders. In addition will need to have demonstrated success with Sales Opportunities Bidding and Price Negotiations.
Confidently Lead Customer Management Business Reviews for customers in the Refinery and Petrochemical Industry
Proven record of strong leadership and able to coach and work with experienced sales & service team and is committed to help in the team development to achieve strong business results
Demonstrates ability to prioritize activities to balance work priorities and personal development priorities
Strong and Proven track record of delivering on value improvement projects at customer sites to help bring direct & indirect savings to customers.
Advantageous to have experience with software such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Power BI Platform.
Prior experience in dealing with specialty chemicals is strongly preferred.
