JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic and relationship-driven Account Manager – Hotel Chains to join our growing team. Reporting to the Area Manager for Hotel Chains, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of large hotel chains, ensuring they are fully aligned with HBX Group’s value proposition and equipped to maximize their revenue potential.

This role is pivotal in implementing central framework agreements, negotiating local commercial conditions, and tailoring our ecosystem of products and services to meet partner needs. You will play a key role in driving performance, profitability, and long-term value through joint strategic planning and consultative partnership management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partnership Building: Act as the primary point of contact for large hotel chains. Build trust-based relationships and deliver joint-value solutions tailored to partner needs. Represent HBX at industry events and networking opportunities.

  • Portfolio & Performance Management: Monitor KPIs and performance metrics. Collaborate with Area Chains Managers and Central Framework teams to ensure optimal commercial conditions and identify growth opportunities.

  • Strategic Execution: Implement strategic plans aligned with regional and organizational goals. Prioritize partner interactions and support ecosystem integration with tailored product offerings (e.g., Roiback, MKT, Data, Insurance).

  • Contracting & Optimization: Align local commercial agreements with central frameworks. Identify opportunities to improve contracting quality and conversion rates. Negotiate differentiated conditions to maintain competitive advantage.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Developers, Direct Channel Specialists, and other departments (marketing, operations, commercial enablement, etc.) to ensure seamless execution and alignment.

  • Tool & Process Adoption: Promote and ensure consistent use of internal tools and processes. Provide feedback for continuous improvement and support regional standardization.

  • Digital Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote hotel chains within the B2B segment. Monitor campaign effectiveness and communicate value to partners.

Required Skills

Market Expertise & Relationship Building

  • Deep understanding of the hotel industry and distribution landscape.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with hotel chains.

  • Skilled in consultative selling and aligning partner needs with HBX’s value proposition.

Commercial Acumen & Negotiation Mastery

  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in structuring tailored commercial agreements.

  • Ability to balance local flexibility with central strategic frameworks.

  • Understanding of pricing, inventory, and revenue management strategies.

Business Development & Strategic Planning

  • Experience in identifying new business opportunities and developing account growth plans.

  • Ability to prioritize initiatives based on business fundamentals and partner potential.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Proficient in analyzing performance data and market trends to inform strategy.

  • Ability to translate insights into actionable plans that drive measurable results.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders across regions.

Agility & Adaptability

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Creative thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Required Tech Skills

Data analysis & KPIs and metrics monitoring

  • Microsoft Excel

Business Intelligence tools knowledge for data visualization & comprehension

  • Tableau, Power BI, QlickView or similar

Presentations design

  • Microsoft Power Point

CRM platforms basic knowledge for data consultation & tracking interactions

  • Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho or similar

Sales Enablement tools knowledge

  • Salesloft, Outreach, Groove or similar

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in commercial roles with direct client interaction.

  • Proven experience in contracting, negotiation, and account planning.

  • Experience developing and executing account growth strategies.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
