Within the B2B/B2C Lubricants job family, this role operates across key commercial disciplines including Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. The position focuses on attracting and retaining customers, strengthening long-term loyalty, and driving demand for Shell Lubricants. It also involves identifying new business opportunities, maximizing value from existing accounts, and supporting strategic initiatives through structured problem-solving and effective project management.

What’s the role?

The primary accountability is to deliver top-line growth by effectively selling the Shell Customer Value Proposition (CVP) while maintaining strict compliance with Shell’s HSSE policies and the Shell General Business Principles. This role will manage the OE Franchised Workshop business across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir—covering existing customer portfolios as well as new business development.

Business Responsibilities:

  • Managing a Target & Off Role Staff to achieve Volume, Net Proceeds and targets as per T&R plans.
  • Working Capital Management with correct Sales forecasting, good credit control as focus areas and deliver business plan within outstanding collections and targets. Take business decisions that reduce risk to business and are profitable to Shell.
  • Maintain and grow good working relationships and business associations with the OEM Commercial, Sales and service teams.
  • Drive the business through new /prospective customers, supporting for conversions and ensuring increase in market penetration and market share.
  • Effectively manage direct costs within the business and ensure competitive cost structure for business conduct.
  • Working along with the marketing team to build, support, develop and implement marketing initiatives and business growth strategy.
  • Utilize all available resources effectively for business growth and manage interface with support functions for the business.
  • Adhering to Shell General Business Principles in all transactions and conduct of business with external parties; demonstrate and inculcate this behavior.
  • Demonstrating commitment to and be responsible for HSSE and the company’s commitment on sustainable development; inculcating safety conscious behavior, with external parties; meeting own safety targets as per the performance contract.

What we need from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent management qualification will be an added advantage
  • 5–9 years of relevant work experience; candidates with engineering and management backgrounds preferred.
  • Strong understanding of B2B/B2C OEM business with proven experience in sales.
  • Demonstrated performance orientation with a strong customer focus and experience in key account management.
  • High energy, self‑driven, and willing to travel extensively.

Location

This role is open to candidates who are currently based in, or willing to relocate to, Bangalore, Chandigarh/Gurgaon and Mumbai.
