Account Management Specialist

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Account Management Specialist plays and integral role, serving as one of the key points of contact for FieldView dealers and customers across a variety of business and operational facets of the Climate sales life-cycle. An Account Management Specialist provides this support on an escalated, tier-two basis.

  • Setup dealers/sellers
  • Address escalated order placement issues, including the placement of Sales Ops Ordering Tool orders as necessary
  • Billing/Payment issue assistance
  • Triaging and escalating software asset issues
  • Processing Returns and Refunds
  • Managing Customer Accommodation requests
  • Addressing Commissions inquiries and issues
  • Facilitating email address changes / account migrations
  • Handling renewal preference (payment method or seller affiliation) requests
  • Addressing Sales Agreement, W9 and EFT inquiries
  • Processing Dealer terminations
  • Facilitating ad hoc report requests
  • Often requires outbound phone calls for follow up with customers as well as potential support of the inbound support line if necessary.
  • Own and address escalated tickets in Salesforce
  • Assist Climate, Bayer and external stakeholders with account/operational requests
  • Ensure customer master data integrity across our account hierarchy, ensuring that all hierarchies are documented accurately and maintained efficiently
  • Facilitate the gathering of pertinent financial documents to be used for all billing and commission purposes; following up on unpaid orders as necessary
  • Identify process improvements and identify more efficient ways to accomplish personal and team goals and then sharing successful ideas with others
  • Provide timely resolution and follow-up to stakeholders
  • Maintain team documentation and reference materials
  • Ensure proper information on financial escalations
  • Knowledgeable about all Climate products, features and current offerings.
  • Become a subject-matter expert for a specific area of focus that pertains to the role.
  • Train other employees as necessary, while engaging with key stakeholders and contributing to broader company improvement efforts

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years' sales support or account management experience
  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Ability to work as early as 7am and/or as late as 6pm

Preferred qualifications:

  • Agronomic knowledge a plus but not required
  • Sales, business or marketing experience is a plus
  • Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and a positive attitude
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills
  • Collaborative
