Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating prospects, providing insurance solutions, and supporting the client.
- Create and maintain prospect lists of potential clients through warm and cold calling.
- Identify clients’ insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and potential premium savings.
- Obtain accurate information from prospects for comprehensive submissions to insurers.
- Maintain concern for timeliness and accuracy when interacting with clients, agency, and company personnel.
- Work within a team structure to help provide clients with continued support even after sales cycle is completed.
- Perform other duties that may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree preferred, or applicable work experience.
- Commercial Property & Casualty experience preferred
- Ability to work within a team atmosphere with a willingness to ask for and receive feedback at all levels.
- Able to effectively negotiate and stay pleasantly persistent despite rejection.
- Goal-orientation and excellent time management skills.
- Organizational skills and proficiency with PC and MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Self-management aptitude and drive to continuously learn.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
