Job Summary:

Account Executives have overall service responsibility/relationship management for a Commercial Lines Book of Business. Account Executives are individual contributors, who develop/maintain coverage strategies for their clients. They mentor their Account Managers, who have more routine responsibilities for the BOB.

Responsibilities:

• Overall Service Responsibility/Relationship Management (including with Producers)

• Serve as Mentor to Account Managers

• Account Rounding/Cross Selling

• Advice about new exposures to risk

• Benchmarking

• Client Retention

• Contract Review

• Coordination of loss control/claims resources

• Coverage Inquiries

• Insurance Program Design/Analysis to Client

• Retention

• M&A insurance due diligence

• Mid-Term Reviews

• Stewardship Reports

• Proposals

• Renewal preparation, timelines & strategy meetings

• Renewal marketing & negotiations with carriers

• RFP involvement, when needed

Education and Experience:

• Commercial insurance knowledge with 5+ years’ industry experience and/or demonstrated ability to successfully handle complexities of job, required

• Experience working with Construction risks preferred

• Excellent business skills, required

• High school diploma or equivalent, required

• Property & Casualty license, required

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $85,000 - $95,000
