The Role

Description

WorkSmart is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Advisor to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing new business in the technology field for the last 3+ years. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and meet client needs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the managed IT services sector.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and present tailored IT solutions to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and WorkSmart’s service offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of closing new business in the technology field.
    • Strong understanding of managed IT services and technology solutions.
    • Strong understanding of Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategy and tactics.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in selling managed IT services or similar technology/cloud solutions.
    • Knowledge of the latest technology trends and developments.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience with sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, & HubSpot or equivalent

    You'll also need:

    • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
    • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
    • The desire and ability to learn new technology

    This is a hybrid position. Employees will work both on-site and remotely.
