What you will do
At Sensormatic Solutions, a division of Johnson Controls, we bring together diverse data and insights with our intelligent operating platform that is designed to drive improved shopper experiences and more profitable retail outcomes. Our innovative solutions drive profitable growth for retailers and improve the customer shopping experience inside the store.
You will drive sales and revenue growth for our Shopper Insights team. You will execute against sales targets by taking total ownership and accountability of the pipeline, leads, and sales targets related to demand generation and growth. The focus will be to increase Shopper Insights sales from a defined existing customer base, as well as from new prospects.
NOTE: This position can be remote in any location throughout the US within a reasonable distance from a major airport.
How you will do it
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, including executives, store managers, and operations teams.
Account Expansion: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional ShopperTrak products and services to existing clients, leveraging a deep understanding of their business needs and objectives.
Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and business reviews with clients to understand their evolving requirements, challenges, and goals.
Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success managers, to develop and deliver customized solutions that address clients' specific needs and drive measurable results.
Contract Renewals: Lead contract renewal negotiations, ensuring timely renewals and maximizing revenue retention.
Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations, working closely with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Revenue Forecasting: Accurately forecast revenue and track performance against sales targets, providing regular updates to management on account status and pipeline activity.
Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, providing valuable insights and recommendations to internal teams to inform product strategy and business decisions.
What we look for
Required
Four year degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
5+ years of direct sales and business development experience
Experience working within and across the retail industry vertical
Advanced level communicator, comfortable working with C-Suites, both internally and externally
Strong attention to detail, organized, focused on maintaining a high degree of productivity, efficiency and accuracy
Entrepreneurial attitude, agile, creative and solutions-focused
Ability to create professional, compelling sales presentations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a matrix organization

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
