Summary:

The Account Executive will partner with the Regional Consultant to support revenue growth and operational efficiencies on the Consultant's book of business and maintain Broker relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Pre-Deliverable Case Audits - Review case-level marketing presentations for accuracy prior to final delivery to clients. Work with internal analyst team on conducting review, making necessary corrections, and timely delivery coordination.
  • Case Tracking, Sold Case Revenue & Premium Tracking - Oversight and maintenance of case-level RFP status updates, including sold case status and renewal premium tracking.
  • Bonus Tracking - Responsible for Broker Bonus tracking by carrier.
  • Revenue Reconciliation/Compensation Audit - Responsible for monthly revenue reconciliations and compensation audits.
  • Book of Business Updates - Develop regular cadence (monthly/quarterly) for BOB review with carriers to discuss broker and case-level opportunities. Including updates to book of business (BOR/AOR), upcoming renewals, and missed revenue on the book, specifically inclusion of commissions on renewals.
  • Broker Stewardship Meetings - Conduct routine (quarterly/bi-annual) face-to-face and virtual stewardship meetings with broker clients.
  • RFP Strategy Sessions - Conduct pre-renewal RFP and quoting strategy meetings with brokers for specific clients based on market segment (100-250 lives).
  • Project Management - Ownership of specific tasks by market segment. For example, on market segment 100-500 lives, benchmarking, plan design, data (census) audit and billing reconciliation.
  • Backfill Regional Consultant - Ability to conduct day-to-day assistance to Consultant, including positioning of sale, presenting to brokers while exhibiting a high level of competency regarding financial and experience exhibits.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • Must have a practical knowledge of RFP and quoting process
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with database applications
  • Valid life and health insurance license, required

Other:

  • Regional travel required
